Galway Races Launch

Here at O'Connell's we are so proud to have had the honour of launching the Galway Races on Monday 31st July!

We were delighted to host an array of special guests for the event. We welcomed Michael Moloney, CEO of Galway Racecourse, Anthony M. Ryan, Chairman of Galway Race Committee, and the Mayor of Galway, Cllr. Eddie Hoare with his wife Pam Richardson-Hoare in, unveiling the plans for this year's Galway Races Summer Festival 2023. 

These announcements included- over €2M raised in prizemoney, new sponsors, a new podcast, €13,000 for Best Dressed Lady Competition, a new Kiss Cam, and lots more excitement and entertainment!

The Galway Festival Season is always a dream, but it's extra special if you spend it in our award-winning outdoor beer garden!
